    1. Hi Evelyn, sorry for this late reply - I'm having a bit of a problem navigating my way around all these pages and I have just noticed your question. I think my favorite reading was Podcasting - Academic Tip Sheet, mainly because it's clear, coherent and short :-).
      Regards,
      Tadeja

  3. I agree great reading. Excellent explanations of the different aspects of podcasting. Fantastic links telling you that you can use so much more, not only iTunes. I had problems understanding RSS but now it has become much clearer. Thank you.

  5. Hi, I enjoyed learning more about podcasts by reading the articles (although I could not access the first one!). I particularly liked the Podcasting Academic Tip Sheet. The link in it to media converting tools is particularly useful ( http://media-convert.com/ ). At times, not everyone can access and use the same media - So I think this link would help users to share podcasts with a wider audience! :-) Thushara

  10. Very useful readings with very good explanations, easy to read, with enough information and not overwhelming, at least for the time being it's the necessary information to read to get to know what we are talking about and to learn vocabulary related.
Reading 2 and 3 were easier for me to read because they go to the point. Reading 1, I can't say it was difficult but it has information about different things at the same time (pages, How to..., so on) so I had to re-read more than twice, and I think I'll have to re-read it again so as to pay attention to the How to ... and to peep the links mentioned.
I hope to be able to make the quiz now, (joking).

  11. I have heard a lot of about podcasting and even tried to record them by myself, but these three articles are really informative and usefull. I didn't know about the Enhanced podcasts with still image. In fact, I've seen some of them, but I didn't know the proper name for them.
    Thanks for useful links.

  12. This is the first time I have read about podcasting and I found all the information useful. I hope I will be able to design my own teaching material as soon as this workshop is over.

  13. Hi, I thought the articles were interesting and informative but I was disappointed that they were dated. I wish that there had been more current articles. In online life 2006 and 2008 were life times ago. I am looking forward to getting into the "nuts and bolts" of how to do this as I have never got any farther than thinking that podcasting is a really great tool for education. I am an avid listener to podcasts but never produced one.

I enjoyed the last article the most, probably because it was a blog and had excellent information on it though I did clip some notes from the first article and put in my Evernote account.

On a side note. I did really poorly on the quiz. :) I guess my mind just does not operate in that manner especially with the images. Oh well won't get stuck on my bad score but move on to the exciting part of actually doing a podcast.

  14. Dear moderators and colleagues

What a pleasure to read such specific and useful information, I particularly liked the first text and the last one, they both have straightforward information. It reassures me to know that it is not only me, a newbi, who finds it useful but also some other more experienced colleagues. I am also happy to have passed the quiz with just one wrong answer. Fancy that! me! who belongs to the Stone Age, ha ha. I am really happy with my course.

Thank you all, I am not only enjoying the sessions but learning a lot.

  15. I've read the articles and found them very interesting, what worries me it's really putting all these things into practise. My test was ok.... but a few things were wrong because there were words quite unfamiliar to me!

  16. Thank you for a clear explanation. The articles describe the main aspects of podcasting and give a clear idea what and how to use them.

  17. Dear Moderators

The readings are very interesting. I like all of them. They are interconnected. The last one contains all the information described in detail by the first readings. Thank you for the course. I am learning a lot and having fun too. I did the quiz and I got a good score.

  18. I agree. The readings are very useful. I had a nice score too. I've undertood most of the information. I'm not very sure about RSS, I need to read deeper to make it clearer to me.

  19. I am late with this week's readings a lot because I got sidetracked through the extra website links which lead to more links and more interests.......sometimes it is hard to stay focused on the goal :) Out of context - LOVE the link to the #1 Second language band - Outlandish and their video http://ddeubel.edublogs.org/2013/01/23/the-1-second-language-band/
    Otherwise great readings!
